Our Senior Recruitment Consultant Julie is one of our longest standing consultants on the JustOT team and has been with the company for 11 years. Prior to joining us, Julie worked for the NHS as a secretary to a psychology department, which helped her smoothly transition into the role as she has an understanding of her clients.
We thought we would ask Julie a few questions to help you get to know a little more about her…
What do you enjoy most about working for JustOT? I enjoy the variety of work, every day is different. I love being on the phone and dealing with all the different personalities.
What is your career motivation? Job satisfaction is a key thing for me in any role, I love getting feedback from my candidates about their roles and fulfilling both the candidates and clients needs. I also like the challenge of working towards targets.
What would you say is your strong point? Working as a team and problem solving on the desk, I am a big team player and a very motherly figure on the desk – I like to help everyone out as it benefits the desk when everyone is performing.
What is your most memorable moment within your role? It has got to be when I first started at the company and one of my colleagues prank called me pretending to be a locum and it wasn’t until I looked up and everyone was laughing that I noticed.
What has been your most challenging experience in your role? The direct engagement models and the associated changes, as I have been in the industry for such a long time it was hard to adjust.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I am a very healthy person, I like to go to the gym and eat well (when I’m not dining out, which is quite a lot). I have recently started to get in touch with my spiritual side, I do meditation and yoga and have even passed my Reiki level 1.
