Monday 1st September 2014

Each month JustOT would like to recognise one of our locums for their personal achievement and commitment to the Occupational Therapy Service!

Name: Ashleigh

Profession: Occupational Therapist

Where are you from? New Zealand

Current Locum position? Acute surgical band 6 Occupational Therapist

Personal achievements within the role? As this is my first position within the NHS, I feel that I have been able to get a good understanding of the system and what resources are available to enable my clients.

What do you enjoy about being a locum? Being able to work within different teams and meet a range of people along the way.

Most memorable moment within your career? It would be hard to pick something specific, I feel that I was lucky in my new graduate position, I worked within a very supportive team which allowed me to build sound skills in occupation that I will always have behind me. Within my first two years there were many memorable moments.
