The unit generally admit patients direct from the acute hospitals as soon as they are medically stable and able to participate or tolerate their rehab programme.They actively look for a discharge placement close to their home so that when they are ready for discharge they can be closer to their friends and families.

They have an exciting position that offers the opportunity to join their growing multidisciplinary team and work in a specialist centre for neurological rehabilitation.
Duties will include

To work as part of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service multidisciplinary team for service users with complex acquired neurological impairments within an inpatient intensive rehabilitation setting.
To provide highly specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex neurological conditions
To undertake a significant clinical caseload to high professional standard using evidence based practice.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be passionate about working in neurological rehabilitation and dedicated to enhancing independence through rehabilitation. The position allows excellent opportunities to develop more specialist skills, contribute to service development, and the supervision and training of junior staff.

Applicants should have proven in Occupational therapy experience in the field of Neurology/Brain Injury and be currently registered with the HCPC.
