JustOT are recruiting for an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in Shetland.

Experience level/band: Band 5 Occupational Therapist, with a minimum of 1 year general hospital experience

Main Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. No evening, night or weekend work. No on-call requirement

Dates Required: As soon as possible for 3 months

We will cover the cost of return travel from within the UK and board accommodation will be provided.

Occupational Therapists will have a key role within both supported discharge and prevention The Occupational Therapist will work with people who have had a hospital admission to enable them to safely and confidently return to their home or similar, and their life roles and/or interests.

This will be achieved via the identification of goals, holistic assessment, and the delivery of a rehabilitation plan designed to maximise a patient's potential, and to meet their identified goals and priorities.

Families and significant others are acknowledged as important contributors to patients' recovery and so should be included in patients' rehabilitation as appropriate.
