Our client has a superb Occupational Therapist Permanent vacancy in West London. Our client is looking for some one who can commit for at least 3-4 years , ideally to become a partner.
This client has been providing personalised and interactive occupational therapy for children in a range of schools in the Richmond and Hounslow borough for over 25 years. In her own studio in Twickenham equipped with SI facilities, children have access to a quiet, tailor-made space where they can achieve their therapy goals with fun activities. She is looking for a fun-loving, kind professional OT to join Leaps and Bounds.

Occupational Therapist Permanent
Salary: 36 000-39 000 p.a.
Locations: West London
Hours: 37 - Full Time
Client Group: school-based and clinic-based.
Job Role:
*Providing a professional, thoughtful and individualised service.
*Caring for each child and parent, understanding their journey, and realising achievement for the child.
*Enabling parents to understand and support their child to reach their full potential.
*Facilita Able to communicate clearly and professionally in person and through emails and report writing to parents, teachers and other professional team members.
*Able to build a good rapport with children with special needs using a range of skills and constant reflection and adaptation.
*Able to judge social situations and adapt accordingly.
*Carefully follow GDPR regulations and confidentiality rules.
*Assist in providing resources for marketing.

*Able to carry out assessments in a range of circumstances, considering the child, tasks and environment.
*Reflect on own practice and participate in CPD, and able to demonstrate this easily.
*Able to adapt therapy approaches and be able to justify clinical decision making.
*Able to seek support and advice appropriately.
*Organise own workload and use time effectively.
*Plan caseload and tasks in advance every half term.
*Plan and utilise therapy resources thoughtfully for school visits.
*Use supervision appropriately, active in seeking opportunities to learn and develop.
*Participate in teacher and parent training with supervisor.
Working pattern:
*Full time role
*Workload will be school-based and clinic-based.
*Clinic has access to Sensory Integration equipment.
*Holidays have to be taken during school holidays with minimum two weeks' notice.
*Candidate should have the right to work and live in the UK e.g. British passport, ancestry visa, spousal visa.
Requirements:
*Occupational Therapist Qualification
*At least 3 years' experience in paediatrics. with experience in ASD and DCD
*Able to carry out assessments in a range of circumstances, considering the child, tasks and environment.
Client offers:
*4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
*1 week study leave p.a.
*1 day per week allocated for administration.
*5% pension contribution
*£1000 p.a. contribution to training
*Richmond parking permit
