This client is the first - and only - Department for Education accredited online special school, is a growing service provider across the UK, engaging with young learners virtually. These young people have lengthy gaps from formal education for a variety of reasons, with the majority displaying Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This is a very exciting time for our client in the development of the online school, recently nominated for several industry leading awards. They are seeking a qualified and HCPC registered OT to join their growing online therapeutic provision.

Client is an independent social enterprise, providing specialist therapeutic education based in London supporting exceptional neurodiverse children and young people aged 7 to 19 who have special educational needs and disabilities typically associated with autism, social emotional and mental health needs and associated disorders. Most of them will have experienced multiple placement breakdowns and significant trauma, often resulting in behaviour that challenges. On average pupils will have been excluded from other provisions up to three times before reaching us and had significant periods out of education.

Job Role:
* The ability to plan and coordinate sessions online, proficient with communication and supporting sensory progress for pupils through universal and intensive therapeutic offers.
* Proficient digital skills, including a good understanding of IT systems and the ability to use them effectively as a member of an online school.
* Creative and innovative, whilst maintaining principles of clinical governance.
* Organised with attention to detail.
* Proactive and innovative, collaborating with team members in other disciplines, whilst also with the ability to work flexibly and independently.
