JustOT are recruiting for an HCPC registered experienced Senior Occupational Therapist, to work with our well-respected client based in East Yorkshire
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team :
The post holder is responsible for the management and supervision of staff ranging from Occupational Therapy Assistant's or Technicians and OT's.
To ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards for all staff, people and carers.
To enable and support co-production initiatives and access to the voluntary and community sector, local community, universal services and the development of personal skills, knowledge and abilities, as well as assessing / providing appropriate equipment/adaptations to promote independence.
Providing specialist therapy support and direction to staff employed directly or indirectly by the service in supporting disabled people and informal carers.
Disabled People and their families
Health Staff e.g. Consultants, GP, O T and Physiotherapists
Department of Work and Pensions
Voluntary Organisations
Independent Providers of care and support
Registered Social Landlords/ Housing Trusts and Associations and other housing providers
Architects, Surveyors, Building Contractors
Manufacturers and Suppliers of equipment
NRS or whichever company has contract for joint community Equipment Service
Other public or private networks within the community that may be of benefit to individuals and their carers
Works collaboratively with staff from within these teams/ bodies to provide specialist knowledge, assessment and provision. Works in collaboration with the above to ensure assessment is completed and most effective use of resources is made.
Promotes independence and social inclusion referring to appropriate agencies, organisations, businesses, and groups as required to most effectively achieve this the post holder has responsibilities to each disabled person on his/her caseload, members of their families and their carers.
Hourly rate :£40.33
Location: East Yorkshire
Hours & Days to be Worked: full time , Mon to Friday
Working arrangements : Mix of home working and office
Essential Requirements : HCPC registered , 3 years Social Services Experience , Car driver
