Hours: Full Time
Client Group: Complex Care a specialist inpatient hospital for adults with learning disability and/ or who are autistic
Sponsorship - Available if in the UK already

You will also have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. You will also manage a team of Occupational Therapy Assistants, and you will receive clinical supervision from the Regional Lead OT.

Job Role:
* Communicating effectively with a range of clinicians, managers, directors, associate directors, people who access services, carers/supporters/family members, stakeholders and agencies
* Providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff including support staff and assistants
* Ensuring the effective delivery of occupational therapy student placements
* Supporting the completion of supervisions, appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff
* To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways

To Qualify
* Occupational therapy profession qualification(s)
* Registered with the HCPC
* Extensive and relevant post qualification clinical experience with people with learning disability who have complex needs
* Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches
* Highly effective clinical reasoning skills
* Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and intervention models
* Knowledge of how to work with vulnerable individuals
